With the Radiologica service, all transmitted folders are subjected to data processing and encryption according to GDPR 2016/679. The folder treated with the Radiologica platform is in accordance with the law for the purposes of the GDPR and it will be given a unique numerical code that accompanies the folder for the duration of its reporting path.

Radiologica, the management company of this service, is responsible for the processing of encrypted data but the holder of this data is and remains the doctor/dentist, holder of the act of care and the relationship with the patient.

The reserved area of each subscriber contains the requests of the medical reports and the related reports

The report compiled by the radiologist is deposited in your reserved area of the Radiologica portal available for consultation, printing and delivery to the patient.

The formats that are generally used for the computer management of medical imaging is the DICOM format.
After collecting the images to be transmitted to the Radiologica portal, you need to compress the folder with the zip extension only.With this extension the images can be directly assumed by the software of Radiologica and then transmitted compressed and encrypted to the radiologist for the medical report.

The transmission of a folder depends on the speed of the transmission allowed by the upload line you are using.
The folders of radiological studies in 3D are of remarkable dimensions therefore may require more time. It is therefore advisable to check the transmission status of the folder, verifying the progression in the loading bar present in the send screen, before closing the computer or disabling the local network computer system. In this case the receipt of the imaging folder will not be complete and not made available to the radiologist for reporting

It is possible to send requests only to the radiologists enabled on the platform and indicated in the portal.
Radiologists need an enabling system that allows to decrypt requests sent to them and this is only possible following a contract signed between Radiologist and Radiologica srl.

The dentist, who performs the images necessary for his diagnostic evaluation directly in his study, with Radiologica can obtain a medical report that allows him to complete the diagnostic picture in a perspective of maximum guarantee for the patient and for the clinical operation to which he is preparing. The medical reports issued by Radiologists with the Radiologica system, are certified because they come from Radiologists and therefore from doctors titled to the issue of radiological reports, who take responsibility for the indications contained in the medical report. The team of Radiologists of Radiologica has been chosen among medical radiologists who present in their professional curriculum a specific preparation in the interpretation of radiological imaging in the odonto-maxillo-facial field and therefore are able to answer the diagnostic questions posed by complex images competently such as those related to the anatomical district indicated. The medical report is issued by the specific radiologist requested by the dentist when sending the images; therefore contains all reference data of the radiologist, including the address and has full legal validity

The medical report -online system managed by Radiologica presents the possibility of sending images only if accompanied by the diagnostic question that the dentist, holder of the clinical act of cure, formulates to accompany the images The diagnostic question is essential to issue a report relevant to the condition of the patient being diagnosed. The more detailed wording of the question allows the radiologist to produce a detailed report in support of the diagnosis. The radiologist may indicate in his report pathological and clinical conditions which require clinical attention even if they have not been indicated in the diagnostic question. It is the radiologist’s responsibility to contact the dentist directly, if necessary for the clinical picture present in the image at its evaluation. The back office of the Radiologica platform allows the radiologist to access the dentist’s telephone contact for the information deemed necessary and not deferable. Similarly, the radiologist should request additional radiological images if those sent are not of sufficient quality to provide an adequate diagnostic radiological report.

The Radiologica computer system consists of two parts:
1.The platform, automatically encrypts the data of the folder, composed of the medical history sheet and the radiological file, allowing the radiologist only to access such data using his private access key.The return of the medical report on the software securely guarantees the return of the medical report to the folder from which the file dicom came out, subject of the request.
2.The Radiologica platform, in addition to managing the sending of images and the return of medical reports, also manages the storage of radiological folders and the provision of such folders at a distance of time at the specific request of the dentist holder of the original referral request.The system has been registered at the Ministry of Health as a Class I Medical Device because it is dedicated to the management of diagnostic procedures.

The radiological study that need a medical report and the commitments are different type, this is the reason why
a different value has been assigned for each reported radiological study. The dentist thus has at his disposal a package of credits that he can use for the requested reports without having to make individual payments. On the ""buy"" page you can see the radiological studies provided for the medical report and the values assigned to them

The payment is only accessed after you have indicated all the required data and have clicked on the ""save"" button.
The payment page shows the modalities of completion of the action that can be concluded both by credit card and by bank transfer. Payment by credit card allows direct access to the service. Payment by bank transfer requires the user to send an email to info@radiologica-online.com indicating the payment identification number made or the receipt scan.
In order to be able to use the service quickly, the user must send the above email, after having entered the required registration data.

In the reserved area of each user there is a historical archive of the requests made and the possibility to view the personal "account statement".
